This is because people like to watch. Just consider YouTube, the 3rd most popular website on the planet. Approximately 23% of internet users visit it every day. And it’s only 5 years old!
One of the ways that I have been marketing my business is by writing a monthly article about things that I know. They are topics that people ask me about and tell me “wow, you are a fountain of knowledge.” Some of those topics are Facebook, websites, social media, blogs, articles, video emails, networking, newsletters, personalized cards, recorded phone calls, webinars or workshops, youtube views, press releases, and contact management, to name just a few.
Press Releases – Press Releases are a great way to let the world know about your business. Done right, you can get a large amount of visibility in a very short amount of time. I would strongly recommend hiring a professional writer (American writer if you’re in the US) that has extensive experience doing this sort of thing. It’s a real art and you have to convey a compelling message with minimal writing. Partner with a company that can not only write your release but also has a broad network of news sites, newspapers, publications as well as TV and radio stations. There are options out there where you can get all this done for under $200.
#3. You check YouTube views, EzineArticle stats, blog visitors, and all your other numbers and rankings. Now, I’ll admit that I’m a numbers person, and I understand the value of measuring progress and conversions. BUT… you can’t spend all your “down time” checking up on this stuff! They’re really not THAT important and it’s an activity that doesn’t build your biz.
Drills. There are many different kinds of running drills, however. Every running coach has their favorites. Go to buy youtube likes and enter “running drills” or “drills for runners.” Don’t just accept anything you see; look for drills demonstrated and recommended by well known, credentialed coaches.
3) Video rocks. When you are creating the letters for your email series, create a video that is relevant to each letter. It could be a more in depth article on the subject, transferred to video, a funny story, an instructional video… it really doesn’t matter as long as it is relevant to the letter that it corresponds to. Upload videos to YouTube, and link the videos to your blog in the “Description” section. In each letter in the email series, add an invitation to watch the relevant video in the body of the email (with a link, of course). This will add value to your static email letters, build your reputation by generating YouTube views, and generate link juice for your blog.
Do not limit this action to just videos in your genre. The idea here is to get noticed and that means putting yourself out there so do the same for other videos as well. You can start out with other topics of interest. Just make sure that you are not spamming. Your views will eventually start to increase, just go ahead and have fun while doing it. That will make the task so much easier.
